I wanted to draw something completely else. But when searching for model pictures, I found some of Homer and Lisa sitting on the sofa, and had this idea.
It's probably a bit late for an eight year old girl, no matter how clever she is!
Well, I admire the way they treat each other. Homer is completely aware that Lisa is much cleverer than him. He doesn't understand her, but he admires her and even asks her for help. At the same time, he is still her dad, she admires him too, and never treats him condescending.
The Simpsons are said to be a "dysfunctional family", but they're much nicer to each other than most real families.
The pic looks a bit seasick, because I didn't use a ruler and my shading is clumsy, but, okay, I'm just a fan artist.
The Griffins are just violent, uncaring imbeciles. wish they kept the family's relationships the same as the first episodes of Family Guy.
I know that when Meg is abused by her family it's supposed to be humorous, but I don't laugh at those parts. I think a lot of people don't even find those parts humorous.
I mean, I don't take it seriously since it's a cartoon. I just don't laugh.
