I watched the Simpson's movie yesterday, and the following night I dreamed of drawing this picture. I used some comic like drawing style instead of the usual Simpson's style, and it looked great.

Then I woke up and thought: No, I can't do that, I'm not skilled enough! But I tried anyway, because I like to use creative ideas from my dreams.

Of course it was more toilsome in reality. The sketch took me hours. To quote Moe: There's a lot of my sweat and blood in it!

All that hard work paid off. This looks brilliant! I'm especially impressed by Moe. You kept his expression uncanny even with a different take on the design.

Moe's expression was somehow the easiest part. (But why is it uncanny?)

Barney just doesn't look the same without his teeth sticking out. But I didn't know how to "translate" this into a half realistic style. Would have looked strange. 8)

Uncanny meaning perfect. I think. I might have used the wrong adjective. >.>

I think Barney's still pretty recognizable. If his mouth were open it would have been easier.
